We've Been Lagging!

Sorry for not posting for like ever!!! We have been to New York and Mama has been to San Francisco so we are just getting settled. These pics are from the Long Island Game Farm...so much fun!
We had this tiger show all to ourselves, Opi thinks they are giant cats.
How cute are these guys?
Her favorite!

More Animals

How cute is this kid? She grabs her little purse and hat and walk to the door telling Mama "bye bye!"
She cracks us up!

Cooking with Da Da

Opi helps out in the kitchen!

Bananas!

Is it normal for a child to eat at least 2 bananas a day? We don't think so.
This is another favorite activity, reading her mickey mouse book and eating a banana on the chair.

Loving The Blocks

Opi has had these blocks for months but never was interested in them until today. She played with them for hours straight, building this tower over and over and yelling "ta-da!"
So cute and proud!

Been A While...

Sorry it has been over a month since we posted anything! The weather has been beautiful and hot in Hawaii so we go the beach all the time. Opi loves the water and wants to soak in this little bucket when we are at home.

Crayons 24 Hours a Day

Opal is really into using her crayons. She has this little desk that she drags everywhere and her own desk in her room. Good thing the crayons are washable!

Our First Garden Harvest

Our first harvest was a success! This is just part of it. We had tatsoi, deer tongue lettuce, carrots, beans and manoa lettuce. Opi ate all the carrots!
Sometimes she even eats the green tops but she won't eat pancakes with syrup at home? Crazy baby!
A bite for Da-Da.

Tub Time

This little crazy baby likes the water so much that she floats on her back in the tub!

The Sun Finally Returned

After a month of clouds, wind and rain, the sun came out and we went straight to the beach.
Opal loves to jump in the pool. If you don't pay attention she will jump on your head.
Opal yells "boat" for every one that sails by.

Our Sturdy Girl

Have any of you ever noticed how thick our child is? Maybe it is due to the constant eating and in this picture, eating on the run!

Best Friends

This "raffe" and baby are Opal's best pals!

We Love Our Garden

We have become obsessed with our garden. We are even planning a container garden and a "square foot garden" at home.
It is so nice to have fresh, organic vegetables around the house.
This is part of our first green bean harvest. We even had enough beans for the restaurant.

Opi thinks this is how you wear a bra. I litterally had to unwind her.

The Groomer

For some reason, this child loves to be groomed. She begs everyday to cut her nails, brush her teeth and clean her ears. In this picture, she ran to the ottoman and laid down, waiting for dave to bring the qtips!

Wee! Opi's New Hangout

Opal has affectionately named the playground "wee". Whenever we see one she yells "wee" and gets excited. Actually the swings are wee but she thinks every playground has swings.
She has awesome technique on her tummy...doesn't look fun to me.
Now that she sees the big kids sitting up, she wants to do it too.
She can climb up the slide and go down by herself too.

Raffes Next to the Park

Right across the street from the park is the Honolulu Zoo. If you look closely in the picture with Opal you can see their heads. She screams "raffe" everytime we see them! So cute.
